Microneedling is a highly versatile treatment, with the ability to address a wide range of skincare concerns. By stimulating collagen production, it smooths fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars, while improving overall skin texture and tone. In addition to this, it can help to reduce hyperpigmentation and enlarged pores and can be used on all skin types across many age groups.

This minimally invasive procedure involves the use of tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the body's natural healing response and triggering collagen and elastin production. We use the SkinPen Precision device, a state-of-the-art microneedling tool with millimetre accuracy, allowing us to address a range of skin concerns in different areas of the face.

What can you expect at your appointment? Dr Joanna will discuss your concerns and take you through the procedure and appropriate aftercare. Numbing cream is applied for 10-15 minutes and the treatment itself takes around 20 minutes.

While some redness and mild swelling may occur immediately following treatment, these side effects typically subside within a few days, allowing you to return to your regular activities with minimal disruption.

We suggest 3 treatments each year and these can be booked as a block or individually.
